Before starting

 

•For IIS 7 you should install "IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility". Otherwise you have to install ISAPI filter manually.
•For x64 operating systems you should enable using 32-bit applications in Application Pools of IIS.

 

Automatic installation

 

To install the program, run IISKeeperSetup.exe and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. The wizard will offer you to install the filter in IIS during the installation process.

After the installation, you will be able to check if the filter runs correctly. Open Control Panel | Administrative tools | Internet Information Services, select the necessary website (or websites) and open Properties. You can use the "ISAPI Filters" tab to see an IISKeeper record with the Low priority.

 

Important. If you use IIS 6, 7 you will see that the filter will be loaded only after you access the website for the first time.

 

Manual installation.

 

1.Open Computer Management        
2.Select the necessary website (or all websites)        
3.Open the properties of the website        
4.Switch to the "ISAPI Filters" tab.        
5.To install the IISKepper filter, click the Add button, type the name "IISKeeper", and select IISKeeper.dll as executable.
6.Click OK and restart IIS        

 

Manual uninstallation.

 

1.Open Computer Management        
2.Select the necessary website (or all websites)        
3.Open the properties of the website        
4.Switch to the "ISAPI Filters" tab        
5.To uninstall the IISKeeper filter, select it and click the Remove button.        
6.Click OK and restart IIS
