How it works

IISKeeper is a kind of "buffer" between the user and your server. If the user tries to access a protected resource, IISKeeper checks his rights using its database. If the authentication has been successfully passed, the user's request is directed to the server and the user receives the requested information. Otherwise, IISKeeper either sends an error message to the browser or redirects the request to the login form depending on the selected authentication type.
If the user has some traffic restriction, IISKeeper counts the traffic he uses and automatically blocks the user when he exceeds the limit.
The configuration application allows you to edit the list of protected resources, the user list, and user rights.
